Unable to organize a hands-on handling workshop because of the pandemic, we produced a video about the arts of the tea ceremony. The video was filmed in a teahouse and gallery at Tokyo National Museum. In the video, one of our curators demonstrated how to handle and display tea ceremony utensils. The video was viewed by curators of Asian art outside of Japan, as well as other museum professionals such as registrars and educators involved in Japanese art. We hope the video helped to deepen their knowledge.
